Our Director
Founded by Sue McLean, B.Sc. (CD), M.S. (SLP) in 1990, The Speech Clinic is an innovative practice dedicated to improving the lives of children and adults with communication and swallowing problems. Sue, a speech-language pathologist, brings over 26 years of extensive clinical experience to the practice and is widely recognized for her work in voice, speech, and reading therapy. Sue is also a Simcoe County native whose professional life is deeply connected to the community. Sue is registered with:
- College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)
- The Ontario Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (OSLA)
- Canadian Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (CASLPA)

Our Team
Our group of dedicated speech-language pathologists each hold their master’s degree and are registered with CASLPO, our provincially regulated health professional college. We have over 14 therapists with an average of 12 years clinical experience. They possess outstanding clinical skills in all areas of communication and swallowing, and their certifications include:
